Dartmouth , NS Swap Meet, Oct 1- worth going to?

They have had this swap meet at this location several times before, is it worth going to for selling my old Chevy stuff? I've never been to it.

Hey Don,

A good buddy of mine puts on this swap meet every year.  I emailed him the thread and this is his response:

"I can't guarantee you that you will sell anything but if you don't bring anything you won't sell it that is for sure ! I have been running this swap for 4or 5 years if the weather is nice there will be lots of people if it is overcast or damp not so much .

I have sold some stuff that if figured was almost worthless ... other times what I thought was a hot or valuable item went unnoticed .

I only charge $10 for a space so what are you really out if nothing at all sells ? Good chance to meet other car people and I know several Pontiac guys who do frequent this swap ...

However the swap is only as good as the vendors so if you want it to continue give it a try . I myself buy lots and it is more of a social event for me I get to see lots of people !

Looking forward to seeing your stuff

Sandy Colter "

IMHO it's worth a trip to check it out at least once.  If you have a good time then you can make it an annual event.

-Mark

I'll do this one unless something like a bunch of rain or a honey doo list interferes. Thanks MC.

Great to hear that it worked out well for you, Don.  I couldn't make it that day as I had other stuff going on, and nothing to sell or buy anyhow.

Yes, Sandy is a nice guy.  I've known him for many years and in fact lived one street up from him for about 25 years or so.  He is as deep into the hobby as anybody I know.
