Bob Crocker's 58 Pontiac Parisienne for sale

Bob (58ponchofan) asked me to pass this message along as he is having trouble posting on the forum:

Well we all have to make painful decisions in our lives, at one time or another and since I am in pain most of the time, had to make this one!  Enclosed are two pix of my new aqusition, a 1958 Cadillac series 62 four door hardtop, that has both ps and pb, along with power windows.  As I now  have arthritis in my shoulders, I find driving my 58 Parisienne without power steering quite a challenge, also without power brakes, as a senior I am always concerned about making quick stops, if be needed.  The Cadillac still allows me to own a 1958 vehicle (my favourite year), that I can be comfortable in driving and I don't have a lot invested. Unfortunately since I cannot keep two old cars, I plan in the spring, on trying to sell the Parisienne, but thought I would post the info now, just in case someone might know of anyone who might be interested. I will be asking $48,000.00 Canadian or $38,000.00 US.  I know these prices are extremely high, but the condition, rarity (six cylinder engine) and the fact it has been featured on the tv show, My Classic Car, with Dennis Gage, makes the car very desirable to someone looking for this particular model of vehicle.  If anyone would be interested in learning more, they could pm me, or look back to the feature car in Feb. 2011.  The car has also been advertised on a USA Facebook page specifically for 1958 Pontiacs.  Thanks from Bob.

PS George ( longstroke) I hope to make Cayuga and Waterford, (weather permitting) with the 58 Cadillac, so hope to meet you at either one, as you seem to like taking pix of Cadillac's.  Bob.

Here's a couple photo's of Bob's Cadillac:

Bob, that is such a sweet looking 58 Pontiac and obviously one of the best in its class. I hope she goes to a good home but i venture that who ever buys it is going to put a 348 V-8 and Turboglide in her, as well as power steering and brakes. I love that beautiful 58 Caddy of yours but i have always been a sucker for 1950's Caddy's. Bob, good luck on both cars. Cheers. George
