Complete garbage. Paper fibres would release and go into all your bearing surfaces and numerous oil galleries. I remember meeting a guy back in the late 80's that had one of these on his 56 Chev 210 hardtop with a 265 V-8. I told him then that his car deserved far better than that trash.

My brother had put one on his 57 Ford. Later engine, I think it was a 352 or 390. The bottom end went on it in a short time and when he took it apart it looked like it had starved for oil. Apparently it bypassed pretty much 100%.

My Dad had one he used on his 65 Acadian Wagon 283 went over 100,000 with no problems, car got Tboned in a hit and run and I bought car and used engine in my 65 Impala for a number of years with no problem but without the Frantz Filter
