L79 66 Acadian Matching Numbers

. Brian had corrected the horn ring issue and as far as the fog lights go you have to remember he bought it off the original owner. The car even sold with original resonators and 12 bolt rear end.It had one repaint many years ago due to rear quarter damage. It's the real deal. Looking at other pictures, that bumper issue is an optical illusion.

It's weird, I've looked at that bumper pic on 3 computers. 2 load the pic normally, one loads it with that big step down under the headlight.

My wife and daughter only see the step bumper, not the level bumper top.

Didn't notice until you mentioned. Fallow the angle back and it should straighten out for ya.

Hilarious, now that I follow the angle back and forth, I can make it change back and forth!

So crazy! Another way to see it is to cover the lights with something and then it looks right.

If it was mine I would do a complete resto and upgrade the tires, suspension, brakes and steering for safety reasons. These cars even when new had spooky brakes and less than desireable steering (" information from someone who owned one back in the day" ).

Ah, this makes it clear how different points of view affect our perception of the front bumper, eh?

Special Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Sports Deluxe, Super Duty, the SD Acadians and Beaumonts seemed to get called it all.

Don't forget the SD badge on the 1973 Pontiac Astre stood for "Salon Deluxe".

This car is now being discussed on Steves Nova Site. "What would you pay for this 66"
Sounds like it will be flipped.

Looks like it's up for sale again. Think this is the second time in the last year or it didn't sell and re listed. Also looks cleaned up a bit horn ring/seat etc.

One of the big auctions would be a good test to see what the market would bear on this car.
