Sweet survivor.
Exactly what most of the cars on the road in the late 60s looked like.
Now can I ask for a favour? Can you take a pic of the dealer emblem on the back and post it in a thread that will come up if you click on search and then type in dealer emblems.

I really like the color combination, odd that the dashpad is black, perhaps a canadian thing? I noticed my 2+2 which has a white interior has a black headliner which would be white on an American model

Isn't the pad actually more of a dark brown? Maybe it's just my computer.

The dash pad is dark brown, I'm mad at myself for over doing it with the bleach and discoloured it slightly.

Notice the air cleaner. On 1967 Canadian 283s there seem to be 2 different styles that were used as alternates. There is the style used in the U.S and many Canadian cars, then there is the style shown on the 67 Parisienne here. I have seen them on Big Cars, Intermediates and even on the compact Acadian / Chevy II. I have seen that type of air cleaner (or at least the lid) used on light duty trucks, Corvairs and even some 200-229 V6 Chevies, 231 Buick V6 & some Chevrolet 267 V8s.

Yes, I love to see old original cars. That Parisienne is nice to see. Madeira Maroon with Gold interior was a factory combination.

Interesting, you know your history. I am still in awe of all this car's original parts, right down to the original coil with factory paint over spray, and factory chalk marks on firewall and hood.

Does the coil have a aluminum finish (actual aluminum, not black) ... it is Canadian only. Here' s mine: http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t59771085/made-in-canada-delco-remy-ignition-coil-canada-only/

Take some pictures of the firewall markings, and put them in our "firewall marking" thread: http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t33391464/firewall-markings/?sort=newestFirst&page=

My coil is black, I assumed it was original because of overspray, now I'm really curious. I took some pics and put them on those threads.

Thank you 427carl !

I'm a rural internet user with poor service, so I apologize in advance for pictures and slow response.
