Jake, welcome here. I see you just joined a couple of days ago.
Your car is stunning. As mentioned, I assume it's the one from the east?
For the record, a group of us here in Manitoba get together for a coffee evening every now and then. We'd love to have you join us. Just keep watching here in the "Lounge" section, we always plan it there so everyone who wants to join us knows when it is.

Carl, I am in the south side of Wpg. I have to wonder if the above pics are of the same car?? It certainly looks like it but my back license plate bracket is not black, but it seems the members on here seem to be familiar with the car. :)
As far as mileage is concerned, who really knows for sure? Maybe there should be a 1 in front of the 46, I don't know. But I do have some repair bills that show the mileage at 28,584 on Aug 30, 1986, 28,677 on Sept 8, 1986, 31,056 on Sept 29, 1987, and 38,513 on Aug 23, 2002.
The car does seem to be in original state, at this time...... :)
I am glad to see the members on this site have enjoyed the pics and discussion! Gives us Winnipeggers something to do during our Christmas blizzard!

Perfect!
I am in Morris. Usually we have been meeting at the Robin's, Waverley at Clarence because it's normally pretty quiet in there.
Safe to say, we are looking forward to seeing your car.
It sure seems like it has to be the same car as the one in the pictures above. That car also had an underdash air. What are the odds of the same colour, 396 and underdash air? And seeing those pictures sure makes that mileage believable.

That is one beautiful car. As I mentioned above, it really looks like the one that was for sale in NS back in 2011/2012. I was really interested in the car but it was over my budget at the time.
Here's the ad and pics that I had saved to my computer:
It was for sale again the next year with the price reduced to $18,000. I had posted about it back then:
I joined CP over the Christmas break and quickly learned that there is so much information available from the members on Canadian Pontiacs. I also learned that the members here track cars like an intelligence agency! Ha, Ha! But, it is all good! The front drums will be changed over to disc by the summer and I appreciate the information available for upgrades such as that.
Be careful modifying that car, you've got a real original treasure there. (Coming from a guy planning to swap the 283 3 speed out of his 42,000 mile Pontiac!)

Yes, our Canada-wide agents install GPS tracking devices on all Canadian Pontiacs.

Truth be known, it's easy to track a car like yours on the internet when it is in 'for sale' ads, car shows, etc., because as Carl mentioned there are so few nice original examples left out there. It makes your car stand out, as it's probably the only one left in the country that matches in originality, colours and equipment.
FWIW, a friend of a friend painted that car years ago, and I heard through him that it was a really good car under the paint. So a little peace of mind that you have a really nice one there.

Congratulations your on the right track now Imagine a big block and 4 speed dressed up as a Jet Flame 427
