hiya Pontiac guys and gals, figured I would share my ride, was a bush find dragged out with a tractor, became a 12 year resto-mod stripped to bare metal and repaired/replaced from there, roof was bent in ,rear inner and outers were a hack job from years past (someone tried using inner and outers from a 4 door wth!), interior was a rats nest with little left, half the trunk metal eaten ect, all work was done by myself and a buddy in one garage ie painting, motor, body work , its finally a car again and on the road, whew lol, will add a few pictures , cheers
Welcome from the Okanagan and great to see your persistence in getting it completed. Too many of them get started and then left. I just sold a 65 a few months ago that was in that holding pattern for too long. They are just such great looking cars. Hopefully will see you on the road some time as it looks like you are out here in the west.
Welcome from the Fraser Valley BC. Very nice car, love the build pics. Even though I can turn a wrench (a bit ) I bought my car fundamentally done as I know my limitations. That said, I really admire folks like yourself, and others on here, that have the skills and confidence to tackle a project like that! Maybe when I retire....
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
thanks everyone for your kind remarks, always great to keep history alive and from all the cars I've see on here There's a lot of passion for restoring and maintaining this history, never give up one day there done ,I had my days I wondered if I would ever get it done, took a few breaks along the way, cheers fellow Pontiac enthusiasts
just a note ,this car was white when I bought it, checked colour code was originally admiralty blue so I returned it to the factory colour ,so much better then the white, but I did change the interior that was two tone aqua to black and the exterior blue
