1964 Parisienne CS

Hello, all:

I am currently restoring my '64 Parisienne Custom Sport.  I've had for a long time and drove the crap out of it when I was younger. Now it is time to make it new again. Or as much as I can.

I am in need of a hood, so my body guy tells me, as the fold over in the front is too rusted for him to fix.

I am  in Victoria, BC.

Also, I'm looking for some other odds and ends, such as  a set of taillights and a back bumper. But the hood is the important one right now.

For all the new stuff (interior, etc), I've been dealing with RPM in Saskatoon and Antique Chevrolet in Dundas. So far,  so good as far as that goes. Anyone else you guys may know about who knows everything there is to know on the Parisiennes?

I've got all the numbers from it and they are all matching. How do I get on the registry?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I will post some pictures soon.

Thanks BSF

Thanks for your quick replies. But as they say, I've already bent Dave's ear there. I've gotten what I can from him. Good source of information. But need to have a wider search to find what I need Should have read this first before sending. No glasses. ð¯

Considering the value of a rust free hood and possible travel time    "perhaps"  you should consider buying a  project   and strip it at sellers  or tow it home

some parts are becoming un-obtainium

Welcome! Let's see some pictures of your car. I've got a nice hood, but I'm all the way over on the right coast.

X2 on the pictures. I may need to talk about the hood Darryl when the van passes through for the bumper.

Hi BSF

You might give KMS in Coquitlam a call and see if they have a hood for you. I know that they have a number of old stuff there. I made a number of great scores there. Their phone number is 604 522 5599. Good luck.
