Many times when we were kids, we took all my Strombecker straight sections and turned my slot car set into a drag strip! We just put pillows at the end and let the cars run off the end...

Did this when i was younger on a pro track , i ran group 20 and group 7 sidewiders ,they would burn a set of $20 rear tires in a few hours :P and i built a sligshot dragster just for fun. these little motors have real ball bearings and we would hand wind the armature and balance them our selves..
