How to remove speedometer needle?


Anyone ever remove a speedometer needle. Need to replace or fix the the face plate (numbers worn) and don't want to bust the needle. Thx Jim

Delicately, but you have to pull hard. It's a nerve wracking job. I've never broken one but I'm always scared I will.

And you have to make sure it goes back on in exactly the right spot.

Thanks Carl. I was prying on it gently...but was afraid of breaking it! Will make something that lifts on both sides...so I don't break it.hmm
