It was marked as "deal pending" . Randy (ashmore) had second thoughts because he's going to the US in the next couple of weeks and didn't want to tap himself dry if he found some deals down there if he had purchased the Beaumonts. You can ask him if you'd like. I even asked him what he thought the cars were worth (because I had no idea- hence my first post on here asking for the values of these cars) and he said he'd ask the exact same.
Hey Randy,
Take it the trip back went ok! Hope that "screaming six" didn't weight you down too much!!
Went and talked to the original owner yesterday morning and ended up with the original 12 bolt from him for the 396 car. Complete from drum to drum with the original 2:73 posi as well. He thinks he still has the original TH400 sitting somewhere in his shop too. Might try and redo the old thing if it doesn't sell....but you seen the projects we already have. Hard to start another when some are almost finished!!
Give us a ring when you get back and we'll drop down for a visit.
Cheers
Jamie

So . if it was going WEST of New Glasgow, and Kevin lives in Oregon . it might be going in the right direction . right?

Hi guys,
Sold the Brown SD 283 car to a gentleman by the name of Keith Greene from Yarmouth. He was the second owner of the car. He bought it in 1972, had it for a few years, then sold it to a fellow that rolled it and it was never on the road again. He looked for the car ever since. He's going to do a full restoration on it and bring it back to what it was originally. Also sold the two consoles, automatic shifter, and one of the twelve bolt rear ends.
The SD 396 car might be sold along with a 67 Chevelle that we have as a package deal along with mostly everything we have for Beaumonts/Chevelles (that includes new full quarters, trunk pans, inner/outer wheel houses, big block hood, and super rare Strato bucket seats). I have one set of the SD trim possibly going to New Brunswick (first dibs), if not it's going to BC.
All this is to fund a '55 Chev build for my father-his favourite car. Wish we could build the 396 car but it's just not in the cards. I'll keep everyone updated as we go.
Cheers
