Gas Tank install

I'm installing the gas tank back in my 67 Beaumont car. Sorry cant remember how to put it back together in the front mount.  When mounting the straps on the front does that mount have a nut clip or does the strap just slide in there and hang freely? The the rear mount uses the longer carriage bolts.

Don't have a 67, but from what I remember....slip in front...bolt in back. Someone else might chime in to be 100%

That's what I was thinking. It's been about 4 years and didn't take any pics of that. There are holes in the straps so that's I was seconding guessing.

Be very careful, the slip in front and bolt in rear are very deceiving, tanks appears strapped , when indeed it is not. After our ordeal, I drill and fixed the front straps then bolted them with bolts and nuts. Nearly had a major Life losing experience.
Best wishes
