As a side note, that's got to be one of the best selling cars in the history of the world... "I used to have one in my youth. Rolled it. Never should have sold it."

Seriously, one of my neighbors had their "Flintstonemobile" stolen in 1989 and never recovered. Was it a joyride thing I wonder, or was it used to rebuild a wreck? Perhaps we should dredge Lake Ontario since it is about 3 minutes away.

I don' t think this one was stolen or it would have likely been set on fire to hide the evidence.

I never thought to check if the vin tag showed any sign of tampering.
