Looking at the numbers you gave, it appears the v.i.n. is for an Acadian, not a Beaumont.

I get:

71327 - Acadian 6-cylinder coupe

8W - 1968, produced in Willow Run Michigan. Willow Run is where they made Novas & Acadians for 1968

Can you get some info off the cowl tag (on the firewall)?
