Still Looking

Hello All

I am reposting in the hopes that someone out there knows the current owner of this 63 Beaumont Convertible.

I owned this car (or it's twin) in the late 60's when I got married. Our 50th anniversary is coming up in 2019 and I am hoping the current owner would be willing to part with it to help us celebrate this milestone.

This picture was taken at the Fleetwood Country Cruise-in  around 2005

If there's is any site that can find it I would think this is the one

Good luck with your search

If you know a cop ask him to check the plate out for you,its a starting point
to find who owned it then.

if you take the licence number into Service Ontario and buy the sellers package, the current owner will be listed on paper work. I tell them I`m buying car and want to make sure there are no leans on it.

As Kevin notes above, since it's an Ontario plate you can get the Used Vehicle Information Package from Service Ontario.

The package will give you the current owner of the plates. If you had the VIN you'd get the registration history of the car.

You'll still need to get creative to find the owner but you will have a name & municipality (no address) to start with.

Good luck, hope you're able to track it down.

Brian

From the MTO website:

  1. To order a used vehicle information package you will need: the vehicle identification number (VIN) or the licence plate number of the used vehicle. if you submit a licence plate number, the package will include information about the vehicle currently attached to that plate number.

I took the suggestion and contacted Service Ontario and got the owner info and made contact. Unfortunately he was not willing to part with the car. He intends to pass it along to his son when he is done with it. Cant blame him. He has owned it for 30 years.

The search goes on.

Do you still suspect it was actually your car back in the 60's ?

Just curious, Scott (LandShark ...)

There is a 63 Acadian convert project on the Seattle Craigslist if anyone is interested.

Turned out not to be my old ride. It had been repainted.
