Congratulations Andre on the most beautiful 66 wagon. It is so nice to see another 66 at the top of the page for two months in a row. Sure don't see such a clean looking example as this every day.
Hope that you your wife and mother have many enjoyable cruises in the spring and summer.
I guess wow and awesome come to mind. What a find, I'd love to have a wagon, I'd prefer it over a convertible.

Congratulations on finding such a beautiful all original car. The only upgrade I can suggest would be to install a 700r4 overdrive transmission. When we did the swap from a cast iron powerglide to the 700r4 the 56 Nomad was such a better car to drive. Mileage increased dramatically and the 265 engine ran beautifully at 70 mph.
I'm curious about the black seat belts in this car. I have no doubt that they are original. The car would have been equipped with seat belts as standard equipment, and yet they aren't colour matched. And it makes no sense that someone would have changed them.
Has anyone else seen black belts in a 66 that didn't have black interior?

I was thinking about them being an accessory but I'm sure seat belts are listed as standard equipment in 66. I thought 65 was the last year for optional seat belts.

This is what is listed in the '66 Pontiac brochure. Standard equipment front and rear on all models. At the end of the brochure it states that "GM reserves the right to make changes at anytime, without notice, in prices, colors. material, equipment, specifications and models, and also to discontinue models.
Man this wagon is just so long and straight. It's beautiful. I'd really like to see a couple of pics from the back with tailgate open and closed. Do you have any more pics to post?
Thanks to all for the nice comments. Merci à tous pour les gentils commentaires. It was an honour and a thrill to be a feature Poncho car. Looking forward to many new wagoneer rides in 2018.
