Hello fellow Pontiac lovers. I am about to get a '67 Beaumont that is in so so shape. I will need interior parts for sure. Door panels, dash pad, carpet, etc. Can anybody point me in the direction of a reputable supplier of all things Beaumont?
Speaking from a 66 Beaumont perspective, the good news is that there are many reproductions parts that will "fit" due to the interchangeability with the more available Chevelle's and GTO's. (IE Many dash components came from the GTO/Templest parts bin. Seat covers in the case of the 66 are the same as Chevelle. Door panels, badging, horn button, tail lights are unique only to Beaumont.)
Congrats on the '67. Many feel it is the most desirable of the bunch. Send pics!!
Thanks '66, I will post pics as soon as I get possession. Buying it from my brother. The "interchangeability" thing is a huge question for me. I would love to know if chevelle parts fit. Obviously the dash is from a '67 goat. Headlights, tailights are unique. I wonder about body parts and interior parts like seats an console, etc. Is there a "knows all" website on the subject? I'm sure the knowledge pool here quite expansive, no doubt.
Spending time in the Beaumont section here will likely answer pretty much all your questions. If you can't find the answer there, just ask. There's a large number of Beaumont guys here who know them inside and out. People don't get laughed at here for "stupid questions", so don't worry about asking whatever questions you have.

any parts that are mechanicly ....if i can say so related are Chev , so no trouble there
interior parts are the main challenge , door panels you could get reproduced from S M S but open your wallet and be prepared for a 6 to 8 month wait , but Worth it depending what interior you have
mine is a base car and that was a tough score but i refered to the chevelle 300 for my door panels and my seat covers
Dales has some nice trim parts
seat covers can be found depending on your trim no on your firewall tag
carpets could be chevelle
any body parts are all available ,same for chassis or suspention
but let me tell you , you will source every thing from here , there are a lot of Beaumont guys on here

sorry guys, since we down sized we no longer sell restoration items with the exception of the ACC line of molded carpets, trunk mats, sound deadners, etc .
. Glad to give you any help in locating parts. email; dpfile @rogers.com
Hi 67 buckets and console, and all interior parts, with the exception of the dash, are 67 Chevelle. So as easy and as cheap as anything to find - there are many suppliers. All the sheet metal and power train is the same as a Chevelle. Only the trim, grille and taillights extensions are different.

Also, one of the worst mistakes we've seen is when guys install Beaumont emblems in the wrong places. If you are putting on emblems that are original to the car but for some reason the original holes aren't there, just ask on here. There will be someone with an original car who can give you the correct dimensions to locate it properly. It's a pet peeve for Canadian Poncho members seeing emblems that are wrong for the year, or mounted in the wrong place!

Yes, I've posted all the emblem dimensions. My car has its original sheet metal, except one quarter was in an accident in '71. Unfortunately my dimensions are with emblems in place, not to the holes. But I'm sure it's still useful with some added measuring to locate the studs.... and yes, emblems installed incorrectly is a pet peeve of mine! ,I love customized cars, but stock emblems a few inches off, isn't Geo. Barris inspired!
But I'm sure it's still useful with some added measuring to locate the studs.

Yup, take the emblem, poke the studs through the cardboard from a cereal box, trace the outline of the emblem on the cardboard and cut it out, place cardboard cutout only up against the metal, measure and mark holes, voila, proper placement and then nobody on here can complain they're in the wrong place.
