Thanks Carls, I'll have to keep the forum posted on how this gets done. Even though it is a option that you didn't see often the process may to useful. I hope it works out and doesn't bankrupt me as i would like to keep it as original as possible.
If you need any used parts and you're not in a panic, my favourite yard has 1 or 2 Caprices with air. Also, he has 2 66 US Pontiacs with air, maybe even 3. The 4 door sedan with air has pretty much a complete setup and the Grand Prix is not far off complete.
