Picked up one of these and put it in the cup holder on my truck

and could track my truck anywhere in Vancouver

going to throw it on the dash of my convert this summer.

I'm confused.

How can you track your truck anywhere when it says it has to be within 100 feet of a phone with the ONE-KEY app on the phone?

This is the part that has me confused. It sounds like your phone has to be within 100 feet to locate?

There is more information if you look it up on YouTube. Looks like when you report item stolen or missing if any one with the one key network on there phone comes within 100 ft it will send the information to yours. In other words it is relying on other people with the one key network. Sort of piggy backs of other people's phones if that makes sence. The more the network grows the better results.

Oh that makes sense now. I thought there is no point if you have to be within 100 feet but I knew that couldn't be right.

I would say we all need to put that app on our phone just to help others out.

Interesting stuff coming along .   

My daughter can track her 4 girls cell phone locations

and my grand daughter could "see" her apartment in Boston when she was getting married in Michigan

You can get a wireless fence for your pet based on Satellite location of your property 

 

 

 

I can even track Johnnee D on my Imac .
