I can't believe how fast the time has flown! Ten years! Wow! I've had a great time running the site and have met a lot of great people, many of whom I consider great friends. Here's to another ten and beyond!
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
How many car sites out there can make that claim. I honestly can not imagine life with out C.P., i would be lost in the wilderness with out C.P. Thank you Todd, for making this all possible, it is very greatly appreciated sir. Cheers. George

Happy 10th, Canadian Poncho! And thanks Todd for all your efforts to provide this meeting place for us all!
Based on when the first McLaughlin motor car rolled out of the factory, it occurs to me that the 10th anniversary of the company that would go on to produce Canadian Pontiacs would have occurred around 1918 (which is also the year when GM actually bought McLaughlin, creating General Motors of Canada)... and here we are all still talking about their products 100 years later!
Here's a link to an interesting blog post on GM of Canada's history:
CP has become part of my daily routine...sometimes more than once per day.
A big thank you to Todd for starting and supporting the site.
To my fellow CPers let's keep this going.
And we just returned home from a 200 mile G8 round trip to our favourite Mexican restaurant in North Dakota. Beautiful day for a drive. Not being a drinker I couldn't hoist one for Canadian Poncho to celebrate, even though there was 2 reasons to celebrate today!

I think it was about this time of night, exactly 10 years ago, I was surfing Kijiji and there was this little teaser ad from some unknown about a "Canadian Pontiac Forum"......
The rest is history. 35,367 posts later, here I am, still loving it!
And I was surfing Kijiji that evening on my wife's birthday of all things. Talk about an understanding woman.
