Beautiful car, I was looking at the ad last night, but I have a beef. For that level quality, that kind of money, they couldn't find a cover for the flywheel/converter? That totally destroys the underneath photo.

Two things drive me crazy on "restored" cars...

1) No cover on the flexplate on automatic cars.

2) No effort to make the back up lights work on 4 speed cars.

I don't care what it costs to find either original stuff, or at worst, crappy reproduction stuff, but my car will get back up lights when I do the 4 speed conversion.

Agreed.  When asking top dollar on a 'restored' car, I would expect everything to be perfect, otherwise I'll buy cheaper and do it myself.

Not that I would ever be in the position to pay that kind of money for an old car... so not a problem for me.  aww

wheel opening mouldings? HUH.Hey cool car for sure-some things I am always amazed it when I see a high dollar car etc..When the seats were re-upholstered why wouldn't you fix the drivers bucket back sag they all seem to have-whether its from power shifting or a fat guy driving-its an easy fix-but also very easy to pick out when the interior is all finished.Guess I am just picky when it is supposed to be all that.no disappointments? too late

Agreed-like Carl stated as well-the chrome ones are really nice. I have not seen the 17" aluminum ones yet but like those too in pictures.Magnums look great on most 60 period muscle cars for sure.

I like chrome Magnums on any muscle car.  These were not available for Beaumont, were they?

Definitely not with the Cragar centres... wink

no factory Magnums .   what about the Cheetah?  dealer installed count ?

We have a fellow close by with a real 67 396 SD hardtop from out West .

He is on the Western Chevelle/Beaumont site, and his buddies got him some real Beaumont SD rims

he was so proud of them, I didn't have the heart to tell him they were Olds Cutlass rims .  (i'll get a photo)

Didn't the Cheetah have the Buick 5 spoke rims with a different ornament on the cap than the Buick had? With a skinnier spoke than a Magnum?

Carl, are you sure you want to alter that beautiful original car that I have stood under and viewed from below?  I am just saying that you are going to have ppl bugging you to buy it, lol.  I am aware of 2 already! :)

Adding the 4 speed and big block will make it worth double .  w/o the Big block .  leave it alone  (2 cents) .

.......you mean pay me now AND pay me later......cry.....when racing back in the 80/90's some tech guys would

tell racers to get rid of their Fram filters and use Wix or AC as they were afraid the Frams would explode on launch

and some did.....I had one go to hell inside and almost lost a motor.....never again.......only AC Delco for 25 years now

Yup, 100% accurate what you say.

A few years back a guy had one pictured on the US Pontiac forum. The filter totally collapsed on the inside on a brand new engine and it was doing nothing.
