I figured I'd put up an ad just in case someone has a quadrajet for sale for a 66 396 or 427. Ideal would be manual trans, 7026205 but I'd settle for an auto trans carb 7026204 if need be. Not hurting for it because my car won't be matching numbers anyway. I have a 68 quadrajet nice core that I can use if I don't find a 66 carb. I would be willing to trade the one I have for the 66 version if that would help.

I just looked on ebay. The 67 arm is definitely different vs the 66 arm.
Early 67 carbs should have the same throttle arm as a 66 I believe. Later in 67 they got rid of the bushing and plastic sleeve for the throttle arm.

What about a air cleaner? Have one figured out again?

hey carl , at some point I will have some big block 66 sitting here , but externally they look the same except for the linkage the base plates are the same so you could mix and match, quite frankly I never met a quad that didn't have to be modified in some way 66 is the bad one give some grief , can you post some pics in the differences between the two or three
that looks very familiar, when ever these two end up here I,ll rip the carbs apart to get them running and post some pics, I think its different then the 68 I have
I think I still have a 7026202 if you could use parts off of. I think it was pretty complete except for the choke. If you can use it let me know and I will see if I can locate it. $50.
