Aubrey Bruneau's car, you might not build the motor for that price.

VERY reluctantly offering my 1963 Pontiac Parisienne Safari ( owned since september, 1985 ). Because this ad is for an extremely unusual vehicle, I am going to presume that those taking the time to look at, and read this ad, WILL already have extensive knowledge of these vehicles. As such, I will refrain from mundane, obvious, information.
Has average rust issues typically found in these cars... IE, wheel well lips, a bit in e quarters, some minor floor repair required, but does NOT need floor pans. "Trunk" floor is rust free. Roof rack is original, and in very good conditiobn.
Pretty nice interior... the Parisiennes had quite high quality fabric, and actually survive vary well. However, the front seat in particular, to make nice, would need some cloth replacement. Front carpet is somewhat deteriorated as well.
Exterior trim is above average, and complete.
Car has factory power steering, power brakes, power rear window, posi rear, running a 4 speed manual transmission.
Obviously, the focal point, is the engine, and imakes up more than half of the value. Has been running a 409 since I've owned the car, but research suggests that this car was likely a 327 originally. However, the conversion is VERY accurately done. The engine itself... 1963 "QB" 425HP short block, re-ringed, all standard size. Heads are actually small port, with extensive work, running MY OWN single plane "Speed-Port" 4 barrel intake. Engine on the dyno in Red Deer, made 466 HP / 466 ft lb torque. Using a Holley carb, and Belenger headers. Camshaft is one of my own combinations, made by Comp Cams. Car is fast, and reliable. It is kept indoors, and is not accessable for test pilots. I know the car, and how to describe it. No trades. No paypal.

Nice car, good price. Just discard and add a few things on the engine and BAM Canadian Poncho!

I recall he used to have another 63 wagon, maybe a tan or pale green, maybe a 409 car too. That was quite a while ago and it was for sale then. I guess he never bothered to get GM paperwork on the wagon for sale to see what motor it was built with.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty excited....Aubrey did some work on my car a few years back and I had a good look at the wagon then. As he said in his ad, it is a lot rougher than the photos suggest. However it is a survivor with the heart of a gladiator! I drove out yesterday to pick it up. We went for a cruise down the highway before we loaded it up, it was -25 outside! It wasnt too fond of the temperature, but it still ran pretty good. I would have to say it will probably show its tail lights to my 67 SD, and that says a lot! My plans for it are waivering at this point, I will either just fix the interior and drive it with my kids, or go down the road of restoring it fully.
