From what I can find that is a small block pump so as long as the fittings line up you should be fine. Big block pumps look very similar but you can't interchange them with small block.

That is a good point! This pump has the bottom crimped on. Not bolted.
And as a little more info, if that pump is a newer unit, it will be a 3/8" hose inlet hose as well as the 3/8" outlet fitting.... your car will have a 5/16" hose inlet and line outlet fitting as original equiptment. (if you have the original fuel line)

I thought my car was a 3/8 line??
It LOOKS original??
As far as I know this car came originally with the 4 barrel 327
And that led me to believe the cars 3/8 line was original?
What makes you say it would be stock with a 5/16 line?
Not arguing just asking questions so I can learn
Love this club!

Yes, I should have asked what engine you had.... I took for granted a 283... I should have asked before stating or at least given the breakdown like Carl did...
Ok
Well you really had me wondering for a minute because
Someone in the cars past put a reducer off the fuel pump (3/8 down to 5/16) then a 5/16 rubber line to a 5/16 steel line into the carb!
I have since removed this hack job repair and replaced it with proper
3/8 steel line.
I had to call a carb shop to get the piece on the carb so I could screw in the 3/8 fitting because the previous owner had installed a 5/16 fitting??
Anyways what Iâm trying to say is
I thought the previous owner and the 5/16 repair job was wrong
And had confirmed that on this site then your info had me second guessing??
Hope the ramble makes sense
