Wow! What an exceptional example. Looks like new. Likely new paint and for sure the engine bay. I feel I've seen it in pictures before somewhere?

15 is pretty close to reasonable, even with the base motor and manual windows (which are a real necessity in a 4 door HT btw). 

Hopefully a member might be interested...

Seller told me it "was done 8 years ago" and the motor has 250 miles on it. It looks like it was a nice example to start with.

That's a nice looking car.  I love the lines, and looks to be in great shape!

However for 15 grand, I think I'd rather have the '66 4-speed car, even with the cosmetic stuff that needs changing.

On this one with it being a 4-door and 283 (vs a big block), I would think the price will lower somewhat, but you never know in the old car game...

I had a 70 Biscayne 30 years ago with a straight six/glide. It was actually fine in traffic. I assume while this car wouldn't win any races it would be fine. I'd love to do an LS swap on a car like this.

I'd think it would actually cruise along just fine with that motor. Zero performance, but fine overall for a pleasant cruiser. What we have here is likely the best example of one in Canada, and I'd love to see someone at CP own it.

Am I the only member with one?.

Thanks guys.  The closest I ever owned was a 318 '68 Plymouth Fury with automatic (3-speed), and it was not a rocket but had decent enough power to do whatever you had to.  Just wondering if a smaller engine with one less gear in a full size car would be a dealbreaker with the way people appear to drive so much more aggressively on the roads these days than they did 30 years ago.

Not that I'm in the position to plunk down $15K on a nice old car and leave it sit outside without a garage to deteriorate anyhow...

Boy that is nice!   I would be tempted if my wife was less observant. To me the plan would be to take out the 283 (keep it though as it is such a gem) slip in a correct 67 396 I happen to have laying around, put it in front of a 700 r4, convert it to front discs and you would have a car that would cruise anywhere with legs and a certain amount of elegance.
