Bushings

How hard is it to replace upper and lower control arm bushings? Do they need to be pressed out? This is on a 64 Parisienne.

Bushings can be burnt out, use a propane torch. Pressing them is likely better if you have a press.

This is a job that you really have to know what you are doing and have all the proper tools to do it. You can get seriously hurt and even killed by those coil springs if you do not know what you are doing.
