I hate it because it's like this day after day after day and I never know whether to drive the Strato Chief or the Trans Am convertible...

We are having one of the nicest summers I can recall. The odd day is too hot, 30+ but most of them are 25-28 and tons of sun. Then we'll get a nice rain to green everything up nicely and start the cycle over again.

I love the cool mornings. We had a number of them around 18-20 though and that's just not as refreshing when you go out in the morning.

Been pretty much the same here. I call it an "Ontario Summer". Too much humidity for my liking though and hot at night.

Like the song says, "There ain't no cure for the summertime blues". You know why that is? Because there is no such thing.

Was at an event the other day and an older chap was complaining about the heat. So I said " aren't you one of the crowd that pays thousands of dollars every January and goes looking for this weather". Silence!

I could do without the humidity. It's very "Ontario-ish" here in PEI. Supposed to continue until at least the weekend.

We are not bug free but sure close to it this summer. It's been just an amazing summer and it started so early. I dropped the ball and only insured the convertible at the start of July but our daughter's wedding had us too busy to enjoy until then for the most part.

Anyone here with a pool, motorcycle, convertible, lakefront cottage etc has had a great year for it here.

Whenever my wife complains about the heat & humidity, I remind her that her prayers from last January have been answered.

Heat, cold, as far as I'm concerned its all good. Love the heat, cold doesn't phase me and I rather like it too. Wifey is from the equator but still is not into heat like I am.

Man, that's warm Carl. Couldn't handle 36. I assume the humidity is low? We've had about 4 weeks of humidex in the 30's. Finally had more rain (more rain fell yesterday than all of July). Looks like we'll have warm temps for another week. This stretch of heat is unheard of here in PEI. I hope it's not the new norm. I like daily highs of about 24 with the nights around 13.

It's been not bad, humidity in the 30's. That's a lot better than some summers where we have these temps but the humidity is in the 60's. But I don't even know if we'll use the convertible this weekend. It's bearable on the highway in those temps but the moment you slow down or stop it's too much.

Was 35 in Edmonton yesterday, and supposed to hit 37 later today. We don't have a lot of humidity though...maybe 35%? Dry enough I've only ever seen the word "Humidex" during a weather report once in the last 6 years.

37...feels like 37. It's a dry heat, you know, like an oven.

On the highway to Winnipeg this afternoon (went to buy a snowblower!) it was 36 the whole ride in.

They say 38 for Sunday....

I guess I mounted my outside temp sensor in a bad spot, it heats up when I sit and idle. 43.jpg
