Shop renovations


Pretty quiet around this forum lately, is no one working on anything?  My 2+2 just came back from the blaster, I have to go in and "see what's left" he said.  That's never good.

In other news, I've done some shop renovations... added brick accents to a couple of areas to give the shop more of an "industrial" look and less of "giant drywall expanse" look.

I used sheets of 4x8 veneer from Home Depot, only $29 per big sheet, so I was under $300 in parts (maybe over with the bucket of glue). Then some corner molding at the top and trim at the bottom.

The air line stuff is quite nice but the FITTINGs are expensive. About $20 per coupler, ninety, or elbow. The pipe isn't bad itself. Thought having had PCV explode on me once, I was keen to invest!
