Hi JC2+2,
The 41B primary rods are a factory quadrajet part and was hoping someone on the board would have a collection of rods. I was looking at carb numbers that have the rods and there are quite a few early carbs having the 0.041" rods. Even a 76 caddy qjet has them so it's all over the place.
FYI: 1966-1975* "70" Quadrajets use one length of primary needle (rod) while 1975-1987 "170" Quadrajets use another length primary needle (rod)
I have been collecting Quadrajet parts for a while now, but becasue most of my parts are for the "70" Quadrajets I am unfamiliar with the stamping/sizes for the "170" series quadrajets.
The attached image is from a page of the 2016 Ames catalog - maybe this will help!

I know i had a set, but I might have them in one of my carbs - would you have any that you could trade?
