I was never a fan of him but i always loved the film Deliverance (1972). My partner (Mary) met him back in the 1980's. I didn't think he was that old, thought maybe mid 70's. Back in the early 60's, he was suppose to be the new James Dean but it never happened. I just never thought he was much of an actor but he really had a personality. Of course the ladies loved him, or hated him if they were dumped by him.
