Stumbled on some NOS 14x6 Cragar SS wheels. They will look great on my 66.
Wondering how wide of a tire you can run on these. Car is 3000 pounds. It wont see any high speed cornering. Its mostly a street cruiser. I see lots of guys on the Dodge forums running 235 or 245/60/14's.
I see 225 is the widest recommended on a 6" wheel. Wondering what you guys have run in the past without issue.
Thanks in advance

Yes, I'm aware that a 235/60/14 has a recommended minimum rim width of 6.5". Just wondering what others have used in the past on a car that doesn't see road race conditions. Haha
I put Hankook 225 70 14's on my car when I bought it. But you are right, it takes some searching to find a decent 14" tire, and they all look too "modern" for our old cars.
