What would you call this part?

I want to look for a NOS or good condition moulding but can't find it probably because I don't know how to define it. Does anyone know what the circled part in the back would be called?

rear trim panel

I'm sure someone on here with a 67 parts catalog can give you the proper GM description and part number which I've found useful when searching eBay.

good luck,

Brian

Closest I found is TRUNK TAIL PANEL MOULDING TRIM BEZEL but not for a 67 so yeah, hopefully someone has the right part name & number.

Here's 2 that were in a yard in Alberta 3 years ago. May still be there.

There was also a 3rd car with the PARISIENNE letters.

Flatla Auto Wrecking, Tilley, AB T0J 3K0

Owner is Dale 403-377-2484 or flatlaautowrecking@gmail.com

His GM stuff doesn't turn over that quick ( he's a Mopar guy )

It's a molding, and it's a panel, and it's a filler, and it's on the rear end, so it's going to be some combo lke

MOLDING, REAR PANEL FILLER

But I'm pretty sure it's going to start with "MOLDING, REAR" if you've got a searchable PDF or similar.

Carl said it's OK to post pages from the assembly manual if it is interesting or help somebody out, so here's the page from the '68 factory assembly manual (I don't have the '67).  It is called simply "moulding".

If somebody had access to a parts book or a body service manual, it might have a more detailed part name in one of those publications.

I'll try to remember to look up the specifics on it later tonight and post the title and part number.

LOL... skipped right over that... at least the assembly manual page looks cool. wink

Moulding rear end panel group is not a very sexy name... you think they would have come up with a better one than that... biggrin
