I think that's called holding the trans for ransom.  Very unethical IMHO.

Chances are that car doesn't even exist anymore or has been cut up/ crushed. But I do know of a person in BC that has an original '70 LS6 Chevelle that was converted to a 4X4 in the early '80's and needs an M22 as his was swapped out for a turbo 400. Car has been in storage since the mid '80's..........
