Has anyone used covers that fill in the gap between the grille and rad support ? Contemplating getting them for my Camino and/ or '70 Mustang.

From what I've read they stop the air from going around and over the rad.

Every modern car has it, even my 73 LeMans is covered. Must be something to it.

The newer vehicles had the cold air snorkel for the engine. If you run all air through the rad on the older cars wouldn't that be pretty hot air for the engine. Especially in summer. No?

I DO!!

It is the most awesome piece i have ever bought for my little scoot.

The fit and finish is perfect.

Until i can change my cooling system this winter... I ran a single core rad all summer in BC.

I added an overflow bottle that drains into bottle from bottom (look at my windshield washer bottle)

I am using a run of the mill FLEX fan with a proper fan shroud.

YUP IT got hot some days but engine ran at 160 to 180 ALL THE TIME.

Best investment in my opinion
