Winnipeg coffee break? (IN MORRIS OCTOBER 13TH?)

My bad. Thanks for the clarification. My Mom and Dad had a G5 so I assumed, you know.....

OK, burning the tires on the G8 is acceptable, you can proceed as suggested!

LOL, thank you for the clearance to proceed!

I would say at least 3/4 of the people who talk to me about our car assume it's front wheel drive. And I don't blame them because sadly, to me it looks like every other front wheel drive on the road today. I only own it because it's so much fun to drive, I really don't think it's a great looking car except from the front.

What time are you expecting us to arrive Carl, and do you need us to bring anything along?

Whatever you guys decide is fine with me. I'm an early riser so if you guys want to come and do breakfast at one of the numerous restaurants here, we can, or if you want to come later and just do coffee, we can do that instead. If some want to come early for breakfast and some show up later, that works too.

I plan to set up a table in the garage with a coffee pot on it and there at least 3-4 different kinds of pop in the fridge as well.

If you want to sit, a lawn chair wouldn't hurt as I think we only have maybe 3 or 4.

1 vote for breakfast at the Husky. "Southside of Morris" I'm thinking 9:00.

my 2 cents

Can't argue with the Husky breakfast, it's pretty good.

Although I know Mike likes the pancakes at Burke's!

I am OK with breakfast at either restaurant. Early morning, late morning, doesn't matter. I was almost halfway to Morris yesterday with the Grande. I took a cruise down 75 and went past St Agathe and then turned around before the construction. I think I need cruise control as I am not used to having my foot on the gas pedal for any length of time anymore.

If any of you guys are interested, I have an air bag that I'd like to blow up on Saturday. It came out of a 96 Caprice I scrapped. Any ideas what we can blow up with it?

I've seen some wild videos, we won't be doing anything like that as long as I have a say in it. I won't be responsible for injuring someone.

Some of the stuff guys do with them is downright stupid.

It's hard not to laugh at some of the stuff though!

Hard not to laugh at these videos but you can see how dangerous they could be like launching the tire sky high.

That tire would easily kill a small child when it came down. Those guys are very fortunate.

Looks like the weather is going to be crappy Saturday AM. Might have to drive a Ford out there.

We moved in here two years ago but I wanted everything to settle before they poured the concrete. This is Red River Valley after all, the king of ground shift on the entire globe. I wanted to give it the best chance I could.

The dirt was all ripped up for sewer and water just before the house was built, so the driveway was SOFT.

Sorry I kinda diverted the topic with a Youtube reference.
So it will be 9AM at Husky for breakfast, then use Carl's new driveway to launch a Ford into orbit using an airbag. Should be fun.

Won't be able to make it. Kids have swimming lessons in the morning.
If you manage to launch the F&$d with the airbag I want pictures.
