Cool coincidence regarding the 70 Chevelle SS 396 advertised in my hometown (where I still live).

I was in church this morning and approached the only Duane I know in this area.

I said "By chance did you own a 70 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed in the 70's?"

"Yes, I did."

I explained to him that yesterday I found the ad listing it for sale in 1974 and confirmed that by telling him the phone numbers in the ad. I asked him what colour it was (and of course his reply was red with black stripes!) When I said "That car could have got you in a lot of trouble" and his reply was "Yes, it did too!"

Sadly, he has no idea where the car ended up.

New Car Trade Centre in Toronto in Sept 1967......the 65 Corvette 425 was a buddy's 396 he just sold to them

and the 63 Coupe 340 was mine....both sold early in Sept 1967
