I know someone who had (and may still have) an original set with the original tires still on them. Her husband passed away many years ago. He bought the 71 T/A new and took the wheels/tires off shortly after. They sat under the bench since then.
It may be a while before I can get in touch with her though.

Appreciate your response as these wheels don't seem to pop up for sale very often any it's kind of funny how many sets of honeycomb wheels that are out there. I grew up in Winnipeg and still make it back a few times a year so please keep me posted.
Appreciate your response as Pontiac must have made at least a hundred different codes of the Rally II wheel. I want to stick to the codes i have listed above if you look at the posted photo
Pontiac used a 14" center Jug and loaded it into a 15" outer rim that has a wider wall to accept the 14" center. Why they did this no one will ever know but the wheel has a unique look.

I Found A Complete Set Of Five KN Coded Wheels This Weekend Oddly From What I Was Told They Were Only Produced One Day All Wheels Were Date Stamped 7 28. One More Piece Of The Puzzle Resolved. I Do Still Need A Space Saver Spare But Those Are Easier To Find.
Congrats! What a great thing it is to find a long-elusive part or parts.
We've gotta see this car when it's done! Or even while Work In Progress. Built threads are always interesting (hint, hint) but take dedication to document.

Yes Indeed Glad I Located These Wheels Just Another Thing Off My Mind I Was Thinking About Giving Up And Going With Honey Comb Wheels Instead. I Will Probably Start The Resto In Summer Of 2019 And I Will For Sure Post As I Have Never Restored An F-Body And Should Have Questions Along The Way. I Am Just Finishing A 1966 Malibu SS Convert But Have Paint Completed And Chassis Done Just Need To Finish Assembly.

I was recently compiling wheel information for my own records; I have here that the KN was July 27th & 28, 1970 only - this would put them as only being correct for early 1971 Firebirds built in a very short window of time. I have also recorded that the KR wheel are dated as early as October 1970, and that even though a given wheel code may have been on the build sheet, that the readily available "correct" wheel would have been substituted.
I believe the following to be true:
JW = 1970 1971; made through to early July 1970 KN = 1971; made only on July 27 & 28 1970 KR = 1971-1972; dated October 1970 through to HM = 1973-1976.5
