I found out today that Randy Hicks (GLHS60) had a stroke and is in the hospital. Terry (Captain Beaumont) and I are going to visit him this evening. We all need to wish him well. So get well soon!

Oh man, hope it is not too bad. Have had a few too many of those to deal with in the last few years including my own father.
Keep us posted on his condition when you can.
Always enjoy Randy's comments and info.

Well that just sucks. If it was caught early enough there is a drug that gets administered that aids in recovery.

I hadn't seen Randy around lately and was wondering about him. Wow,  a stroke can hit anybody and leave devastating results. Hopefully it was caught & dealt with in time & a full recovery is on the way.

 

I know that mom had a mini-stroke that had temporary effects on her, but she went on to recover and never had another stroke the rest of her life. I did hear about another car buddy in my neighborhood that had a stroke recently. When I drove by his house I saw wheelchair ramps on all the exterior steps of the house no

 

We are praying for you Randy. We also value & enjoy that library you have in your head, so once you are well please hurry back & share biggrin

Randy texted me today. Said the nurse took his blood pressure and won't give it back. Definitely hasn't hurt his sense of humour. That's for sure.
