Would you consider selling lower front valence only? Location and price?

Hi magmom, you should post a separate ad for those in Canadian Pontiac Parts wanted. Guys may not see your wanted ad because it's in here with an ad looking for a different year valence and fender.

.......I guess this is kind of a rant.....

Seems to be happening more often in recent years....

Somebody posts a wanted ad......car part,...car or whatever........

You contact them and indicate that you may have what they are looking for.

They reply......Great...send pics....

So you go and find said part.....clean it up......take some pics.......and take the time to send them.....

Then it's like the other party just fell off the face of the earth...

In MY book......some sort of reply is in order......Yes...no....I sold the car....the dog ate my homework...anything.....

I didn't do this for FUN......and they have basically wasted my time.....

No reply...is NOT a valid response.......its borderline rude and disrespectful...

Maybe expected on craigslist....but forums are a tighter group...

Comments???

I agree 110% with you Brian ... couldn't have said it better myself.

I've had it happen many times (but not yet on this forum). Should you even want to sell to a person that is that lax (unless they have an extenuating circumstance and communicated that to you)?

The thing that also bugs me is when they finally do get back to you months later and inquire about the potential sale again ... meanwhile it has been out of your mind, or sold to someone else, or put away once again, or thrown out.

Agreed. It's just common courtesy to follow through and reply whether you are interested or not if someone goes though all the trouble to find a part you are looking for.

Feel free to quote my post...if needed....

Hi MoboMac ... The photos that you sent me are pictures of the rear lower valence. My ad states that I am looking for front lower valence. There is a big difference Brian!!
