Jerel, is there anyway you can check how solid the front header of the convertible top is? Most are rotted.

Thanks.

Sure, will take a closer look but on first glance and feel it seemed to just have some surface rust.

Was going to add that these are guesstimate prices which are to be shown when posting parts so don't be shy to make an offer if you think the price is too high or too low. Thanks

Also have the convertible top latch receivers from the top corners of the windshield. They also hold the sun visors. These have some small pitting on the underside but the top of one has hardly any marking and the other has a few. They are better than average if you want to upgrade. Asking $25 for the pair.

Those shrouds are the key to any custom cooling setup. They can be adapted in a number of ways. Kind of hard to find these days. Someone should grab it.

I was actually pleasantly surprised to see it there considering the condition of the rest of the car.  Interesting story too as this is a first when I've bought a parts car.  I get it delivered and I notice the hubcaps are missing so make a mental note.  Open the hood the next day and I see they've stripped the rad out.  Then I was choked and phoned the fellow who sold it to me.  Sad thing is I sort of know him from being on a job site a few years ago.  Denies it and says his guys were supposed to take the rad out a couple of months ago.  I said that may well be fine but they didn't and it was there when I looked at it and later told you I was taking it.  So I guess he has the caps and some other rad for me to pick up. Amazing for a guy who is a sort of businessman in our city.  Funny how your impression can quickly change of a person and this guy is no kid, at least in his seventies.  What a crook and for over maybe $50.  Have to give your head a shake.  Quite the exception from the car community I usually get to deal with.

Also if someone from Ontario is interested in some not crazy big parts I have a good friend of mine driving out to Ontario with his pickup in early summer. Talked to him tonight and he says he has room but would prefer things that fit in his box so he can keep his box cover locked.

Is there a part # on the shroud? Should be something like 3939389. There were a selection of shrouds used, this one looks like a fairly wide one for a small block.

Kind of like in the early 80's when I bought the a running 69 Parisienne 427 convert. Left a deposit, went back to get it the next day and the guys says "Oh, I need to keep the battery" to which I replied "I bought a running driving car." He says "Bu it's my friend's battery, what will I tell him?"

I said "Tell your friend you owe him a battery."

Yes Jerel, this place kind of spoils us dealing with "outsiders"!

 Thanks.

I was trying to be a bit sneaky here. I'm looking for a better set for my 64 Beaumont plus I have second set and don't know what they're off of.

I can seem to locate the correct section to look up parts numbers for this type of part in any of my Pontiac parts manuals.
