63 Parisienne 'stock car' on kijiji QC

This is a strange one... looks like it's set up for road racing?  Anybody familiar with the series it would run in?  Seems like an odd choice for competition, especially with powerglide. Can't be an oval track car as there wouldn't be a passenger seat, the door bars would have to be more robust and the doors would be welded shut, plus there would be no glass in it except windshield - not to mention that it would be beat and bashed from front to rear.

On the other hand, it looks well built and would be a cool car to run the Targa Newfoundland but you would probably have to add lights, etc to run it.  Or... make it roadworthy and drive as is - though I'd want to put a manual transmission in it for either scenario.

That's different. Hey MC, lets take it to Targa Nfld. We'll paint on the CP logo and get some other sponsors and race! Jobs, shmobs! We don't need our stinkin' jobs!

That's a "Jenner Motors / Edmonton" dealer emblem on the trunk.

Would be nice to put on the road, but you would need a donor car for the missing parts. I agree that it would be more fun with a four speed. I wonder what the frame and floors are like, and what mods have been done to the suspension. I see that it has load bolts on the front springs.
