Friend of mine asked me if I recognized the guy with the "dreads" I didn't & asked why? He's sure that's the guy that was on Highway thru hell episode with a crew knocking down the loose shale & boulders, & also used explosives to drop the big ones!!! What twigged him was one of the containers on car program had Explosive plaques all over it,& he'd been trying to remember where he'd seen this guy.

He was also on a show where he "scaled" parts of the Niagara escarpment ... no explosives used there, just huge pry bars, etc.

From what I'm reading, it sounds like there would be a market for a factual documentary-style restoration show with no drama, no entertainment, just the facts...
That would mess with the whole "reality show" formula which hooks people, so they return to watch after the commercial break! How boring!

I am surprised nobody is talking about is extensive collection of beaumonts. They are everywhere in the background durring the show. some acadians too.
Its the only reason i watch the show
Just watched the one building the derby cars, right next to the caddy is what looks like a 1968 beaumont custom STATION WAGON! thats a rarity

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Fortunately the free preview of History Channel has ended, and the show is no longer available to me. I watched all the episodes up to when they take the Ford to another shop to be painted (clear coated), instead of using their own paint booth. I'm going to leave it at that.

I gotta agree with MoboMac on this ...popcorn and laughs..This show is all about mindless entertainment before zzz's for me. All of these 2 bit shows are hilarious ...Yup I watch em for entertainment purposes only...Should made some popcorn for this thread read lol Great stuff
I guess the speculation was right. There will be a second season of this. My brother tells me they were in our town filming Mr Dreadlocks acquisition of a GTX from a local hemi collector.

For info.
Yes, I'd heard they were shooting for the next season of the show at the Tappan Swap Meet last weekend.

I watched last night's episode. At the beginning he brings a 1970 Parisienne 2 dr hdtp back to the shop, and they comment how ugly it is. Well, it is an acquired taste.
They remove the engine / tranny to install in their demo derby car, I wonder what they with the rest of car.
