'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
spoke to the guy-he is sending other picks of trunk etc..says the car is super solid-no rust through anywhere-guess we'll see once the pics come-has the missing tail panel emblem as well
Someone must have changed the pedal pad I guess. That sometimes can be a warning flag on a high mile car but this sure doesn't look like some clapped out old car.

I'd love to have this one in my driveway... alas adding $3000 for shipping makes it less doable, of course. If it were closer I'd probably be inquiring about it.

I spied the disc cylinder as well but I too said, no disc brake pad and it has to be added..... I was about to say something but I wasn't sure if they came with it as I have no factory equipped '67's here with discs.... sans 1... Ken's 2+2 from Lac LaBiche... I checked, no disc brake pad.... I can't ever remember seeing one? So, I couldn't say for sure...

I checked the parts book for fun. All 67 Canadian Pontiac automatic transmission B bodies use the same brake pedal pad (with power brakes of course), no exception for disc brakes.
Guess I either never knew that or had forgotten.

From the underhood shot it certainly looks like the Bendix master cylinder that was used on disk brake cars, but the car has 14" wheels as witnessed by the Grande Parisienne wheel covers. That year the B-body Chevrolets & Canadian Pontiacs used 15" Rally Wheels on all disk brake cars. They often were damn skinny, too! 5" width was typical except wagons & h.d. which were 6" wide. Also 70-series tires included 6" wide wheels.
Shown below is an ad with a 67 283 Impala with disk brakes & skinny 15x5 Rally Wheels. The car appears to be Madeira Maroon which would match that Grande Parisienne's interior.
I can confirm that. The 67 2+2 with discs that I sold to Vince awhile back had discs and was equipped with the 5x15 inch ralleys which I kept and still have. I assume they were part of the disc package and were designed to provide extra cooling.
I suppose that a 67 Grande could be ordered with the discs and then would be equipped with ralleys. Not sure how that would look though.
Now that I have more or less accidentally accumulated three 67 Grande 2 door hardtops (including one AC car and a 396 car) I sometimes wish I hadn't sold the 2+2 as I occasionally fantasize about assembling one really well equipped 67 Grande by putting all the good stuff on one car.
