Love the baby carriage in the one pic ... it's how I rolled when I was a little pecker.

Those baby carriages with the spring suspension were great for towing behind a bike and over a ramp!
I used to run those carriages (and a modified Lawnboy mower deck ... the type without the diagonal front wheels) down the dirt hills at a neighbouring construction site when I was a kid ... who needs steering or brakes, right?

They were a great source of wheels for building wooden "go carts". We had steering (usually a rope tied to the front "axle" 2X4) but brakes were not required when all you had to do was jump off before you hit something...
Am I the only one who is wondering why they had American model Pontiacs on display at a Canadian show?
Actually, they were available in Canada too. Advertisements even boasted that six series were available (CDN Parisienne, Laurentian and Strato Chief and US Bonneville, Star Chief and Catalina).
Boy that White 59 Pontiac in the first pic sure looks like the before photo of the reason Bunkie Knudsen came up with the Wide-Track idea! It looks like they put a big fat Pontiac body on a VW beetle chassis!
I'm pretty sure I scored a drinking glass from one of those shows a number of years ago at a second hand shop!

1959 was a year that GM really got it right with every car in the GM lineup. Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac. Winners, all five of them.
