Wanted; 1965 Parisienne/Laurentian tailamp bezels, Laurentian rear center trim.

Seeking better 1965 Tail lamp and center trim, and further, front grilles and headlamp bezels.

Some pitting would be ok . Looking to replace all the severely pitted die cast on the 65 with something more presentable.

Any replies or leads greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Mark

Mark
These pics are about 3 years old but are of 2 cars sitting at Flatla Wrecking in AB.
I did steal the headlight bevels off 1 of them. Believe I also stole 1 set of the V8 emblems but could make them available.

Thanks Ted,

If I were closer I'd be checking it out asap.

Did you know a Parisienne tail panel is different from a Laurentien?

13 bars vs 6.

I suppose the strato and Laurentian are the same 13 bar?

Then Parisienne 6 bar, and then Custom Sport, same bars minus the script?

The Parisienne and Parisienne Custom Sport share the same trunk bar. See pic of 65 CS.

Sorry about the pic quality. No hydro in storage bldg and flash wouldn't flash.

There we go, now all we need is a picture of a Strato rear end.

I don't know my 65's. This is on a 65 Catalina in my favourite wrecking yard (factory 4 speed bench seat car by the way...)

Is this the same as Strato or Parisienne? Or can you tell.

It's in pretty nice shape too.

Ken, looks like perhaps the intent was to paint between the bars in the brochure images? But it appears they weren't after all on the Strat/Laur.

And Carl, I'd definitely want that trim if I was in the yard, it looks pretty good.

It is in pretty nice shape Mark.

I am dreaming I might take a day before Christmas and go there, but we'll see.

If I do, I'll grab it.

Carl, I did look at that rear panel and it is in decent condition, but does have a bit of pitting on it. Interesting, but that car has the ventura package also. Very similar to how mine was built with a bench seat and a 4 speed. I did grab the ventura emblems and a couple other things off of that last time I was there. I need to make another trip also up there. Winter works best when the water is frozen and the leaves are off of the overgrowth!

I got the floor hump and pedals out of that car way back when. Someone else beat me to all the rest of the unique 4 speed stuff.

Sorry for the derail Mark.

Have a right side tail light bezel in very good condition. It does have a few Pitts. Will attempt to attach pictures. PM me or email "a421cat@gmail.com" if interested.

Bill.
