yep thats cheap very nice looking car even the rocker chrome looks nice...gots me thinking even though I love my car it may not be to wise to get too carryed away spending to much money on it..prob past that all ready ,good enough to me has to be good enough ..I get 64 C/S and their seems to be tons of them around !! go figure
Must be the orange air cleaner making it cheap. It looks very nice.

What a nice looking car from the not so close up pictures. If the chrome mouldings aren't pitted it's a win win. Maybe owner feels that's a fair price JMO.
Sharp looking car. Wish he had done a little more research and painted the trunk and firewall body colour which would have been at really no extra cost.
That air cleaner needs a quick redo.
Looks good in the pictures. Spatter paint in the trunk (even though there are no obvious signs of repair) is a red flag. Nice car.

The more i look at this 64 the more i love it and the more i do not get why it is so cheap in price. I would just repaint the air cleaner and put Pontiac decals on the valve covers. She even looks super sweet with those classic Cragar mags. Hopefully this dream time machine goes to a good home and not a house of horrors.

The steering wheel....appears to have been recast.....
The acrylic clear sections look new...and have no smoke tint.....
... the clear sections are very crackled if you look closer.

I have noticed that on E bay there are re pop impalla steering wheels in different colors not sure if the horn rings from a C/S fit them or not but they sure look good
I tried to buy this vehicle back in 2014 from a previous owner. (he sold it to a friend) I ran the VIN number with Vintage Vehicle Services and the paint code came back as D-Satin Silver Metallic. The owner got the vehicle from his uncle and could not remember it ever being painted. I hesitated due to the discrepancy and the fact that the car was in a remote portion of New Brunswick. The car was originally sold by J.E. Weldon Ltd. Sackville, NB

It may not be "original" but it is sure a fine looking car! My wife would appreciate the 283 with a 2 speed automatic vs the 327-300 hp 4 speed that we own!
