Looks pretty good Bill. Is it an actual 2+2? If so it's pretty rare.

Looks like a 2+2 to me. I spotted the small Pontiac emblem on the trunk lid in the 2nd photo.

I dont know guys theres no 2+2 emblems any where from what I remember I think I would have noticed that and can't see the last owner taking them off? from what I remember the dash is green so it prob was painted white over green I am thinking can't wait to get it home but just no room.till I get the 64 back together

Do you have any other photo's? The woodgrain panel above the glove box could say 2+2.

Do you have access to the VIN? The first 5 digits will tell the tale. If 76467 it's a Parisienne, 76867 is a 2+2.

Bill, hopefully someone will comment but I recall that the 69 used a variety of 2+2 insignia from earlier American 2+2s and those were available reproduction.

Sweet score. Keep us posted.

Thank you Eric yes I bought a 2+2 emblem on here great deal just cuz I figured on sticking it on the car maybe just for the heck of it so got lucky there but it has 3 pins and was told prob a USA emblem so if I find the holes in the car it might fit anyways..I am excited yet Thinking of how I could keep it ? dont drive the 64 much yet another ? this is a sickness lol

I'm pretty sure someone has posted the build #'s before.   If I recall, it's something like about 800-900.   I remember it was higher than the 274  2+2 rags built in 1970.    These were built in Canada cars only, no USA.

Great score. Being a Sk car and being inside quite a bit the floors are probably good.

I do know the inside trunk area behind drivers wheel well had some rust but nothing really bad ..too bad the emblems and most importantly to me that the 5 rib pieces on the rear sides arent there..darn emblems and horn buttons could be alot worse I guess lol

I used to have a set of 69 2+2 louvers, removed from a ragtop in the early 2000's. I don't think I have them anymore though. I remember a couple of them had been installed upside down, they must have run out one day at the factory.

Yep sounds like I am going to have troubles..those louvers to me really make the 2+2's in looks..the reason I wasnt interested in the car before was it just looked like a normal big old car ..had I known it was a 2+2 and rarer than my 64 C/S i got after the fact I would have bought the 69 instead...oh what to do ? GF will kill me if I keep them both lol

I bet no more than 60 on the road if that.

Get in the storage and take some better shots of it.

This page shows 639 1969 2+2 8 cylinder convertibles built:
canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t22305887/58-70-full-size-production-numbers/

Any statement on how many are left is purely speculation. You never know how many are hidden in barns, etc.

Bill, word of caution there are two versions of the long tail light lense. With and without a lower lip.

I see you are in Regina. Feel free to message me and I can show you the difference on my car.

This is further proof that there are some rare cars still out there waiting to be found! Stay vigilant, keep looking, rout them out of hibernation.
