Oz 4 door build/tidy up

Ive had my 65 4 door for 10+ years and found CP in 2011 when buying the convertible but I didnt post any photos of my first 65.

I paid $3700 for what looked like a tidy car, with rust repaired in A and C pillars and roof in primer and rest of car in 3 difference shades of white. Drove it home about 40 miles on Saturday and gave it a big clean (sat for 2years) then took it to work to show my workmates. Started car to head home and dropped a valve on left side. New plan, start with the mechanical and running now before paint and panel.

Engine block decked and bored, heads done, torker 2 intake, holley, put together with rebuilt powerglide, drum brakes, koni shocks and king springs and diff seals in 12 bolt. I drove it like this for many years while I now started buying parts and stuff for convertible.

Now the last 2.5 years I decided to tidy it up before starting the convertible or I would end up with 2 half done cars. So massive rust found in rear quarters, boot drop offs, front guards and boot gutter hidden under bog and 2 other paint job. So made rust repairs and tacked in place and waited 6 months for a mate to weld them in rear quarters. While waiting did the rest of bodywork done and painting started. Roof in flat black and platinum silver (GM colour) with extra black add until I was happy, painted from front to rear quarter and boot lid.

Fast forwar to September 2018 and now mostly finished. Little things like tear in hood lining at rear window and windlacing around doors and things. But just had 9th back surgery (Dec 4)so time to push forward with the convertible while I can still move.

For sure on that, a feature car. What do you think Rohan, how about it. Lets get your Ozzy Poncho on C.P. as a feature car. PM our leader Todd about turning your 65 into a star for a month. Cheers.

Thanks for your nice comments. Im happy with my first paint job and the colour really shows off the s/steel trims.
Heres some pics of the interior and engine bay. The car really is the same except for the chev dash and the drum heater blower on firewall.
Some trim clip pics for Mark.
