Dad was a big Rodney Dangerfield fan and used to have cassettes in his office. Dad himself was known as a funny guy, although oftentimes it was for being corny, or slightly incorrect as was the style of the time. He loved pulling pranks on friends. Sometimes I was a paid accomplice, meanwhile dad & his lawyer friend were back in the car awaiting to see what happened after they sent me to a guy's house to deliver a box full of insults, gift-wrapped for Christmas. I hit the guy up for a delivery charge so he gave me a quarter (enough for a chocolate bar back then). When I returned to the car with a quarter, the adult men were laughing, saying that nobody has ever been able to get a dime out of that cheapskate! They wanted it bronzed.
