I seem to recall Eastwood had videos for learning the English wheel. It's a skill I'd love to learn as well.

That might be a challenge. I watched a guy a year ago at SEMA making a motorcycle fender. Amazing work when you know what youre doing. I watched him for probably an hour. One guy asked him about the learning curve to get to that stage and he said all depends on each individual. I know some of you guys would be doing car hoods the second day!

I dont see a problem making that. Youre covering it with carpet so it doesnt have to be perfect. I made the roof side panels for my Model A with a home made English Wheel. They arent perfect but are covered with padded vinyl top.

Heres my home made English Wheel. I found instructions how to build one online. Under $50 in pieces plus your time. Not worth building one for $185. Especially with all the different size wheels. And heres what I had to build. Not perfect but like I said before, will be covered up.

Practice. Practice. Watch some YouTube. I found for me the tension was the big thing. Not enough and nothing happens. Too much and it makes lines in your metal. I call them tracks. Good luck.

There are reports that one of these ended up on an Island in the west.

Might just have to get one for the Ontario crew to play with...   I am intrigued with this item.  Could create items for craft shows.

 Free!!! and only 1 tax! Looked at the one at Princes 249.00(and looked cheaper quality).  207.00 to the door..thing weighs 25 lbs...think they lost money on this one! Played with it a bit..but working on projects to get out the door. Will post some pics when I play more next month. Also thinking I can convert it to a bead roller and edge roller since I have a lathe to make dies.
